New

Cue now understands the Canadian market

Cue's intelligence layer now includes Statistics Canada data for all 26 practices: self-employment income benchmarks (P25/P50/P75 by practice), T2125 business activity codes, GST/HST registration thresholds, provincial tax rates, CPI services inflation trends, business formation rates, seasonal patterns, household spending data, and CMA income for 17 major cities. Canadian users get market-accurate, jurisdiction-specific advice instead of US-centric defaults.

New

6 amplifier practices added — Newsletter, YouTube, Copywriting, Podcasting, Dev, AI Consulting

Six creator and knowledge-worker practices are now available: Newsletter, YouTube Creator, Copywriting, Podcasting, Freelance Dev, and AI Consulting. Each has full practice-specific vocabulary, entity types, Cue intelligence context, and kit support. These practices were selected because their practitioners distribute content organically — every user is also a potential referral channel.

New

Kit Marketplace complete — 197 capability modules now available

The Kit Marketplace is fully stocked: 197 installable capability modules across integrations (79), operations (26), AI add-ons (23), migration (24), financial (10), analytics (8), marketing (8), compliance (4), and client management (4). Kits install in seconds with no migration required. Migration kits cover HoneyBook, Trainerize, Dubsado, Bonsai, and other platforms.

New

MCP platform complete — 221 tools, full external agent access

The Businys MCP server now exposes 221 tools, covering every core business operation: clients, invoices, contracts, sessions, programs, workouts, quotes, kits, and more. Any MCP-compatible AI agent — Claude, ChatGPT, or your own — can now read and write your business data. Platform resources (business context, active programs, clients) are available as MCP resources for context-efficient reads.

New

Niche Builder — generate a custom practice from a conversation

The Niche Builder is now live. If none of the 26 built-in practices fit your work, describe what you do to Cue in plain English. Cue generates a complete practice definition — entities, vocabulary, workflows, and AI context — and adds it to your account. Custom practices work with all platform features: clients, invoices, contracts, kits, and Cue intelligence. Promoted custom practices become available to other users.

Announcement

Canadian infrastructure — data residency in Canada

Businys data is now stored and processed in Canada. Database infrastructure runs on Supabase ca-central-1 (Montreal), and the application layer runs on Vercel's yul1 region (Montreal). Canadian users' data stays in Canada, supporting PIPEDA compliance and providing lower latency for Canadian businesses.

New

In-App Help System

The AI assistant is now your built-in help system. Look for the **?** icon on any page to get contextual help — it opens the assistant with guidance specific to the feature you're viewing. You can also type questions like "how do I send a quote" in the command palette (Cmd+K) to route directly to the AI assistant.
